How to Save £400+ on Mechanical Engineering Textbooks
1. International editions for Hibbeler, Cengel, and White. These are published by Pearson and McGraw-Hill — both have international editions at 50–70% less than UK retail. The content is identical. Search on AbeBooks with “international edition” or “SI edition”.
2. Buy Stroud new — it’s worth it. You’ll use Engineering Mathematics every week from year 1 to year 3. You’ll write in it, annotate it, and refer back to it constantly. Don’t cut costs on this one.
